Heise Electric Inc.

The agencies on those filings include the cities of Colville, Spokane, Omak and Pateros, the towns of Lind and Marcus, Vera Water & Power District #15, Ferry County, Spokane Parks & Recreation, and the state departments of Enterprise Services and Corrections. The state insures the crew, in the four-to-six range, under classes for underground utility line construction, highway lighting and sign installation, building wiring and floodlighting, and telephone prewiring. Heise Electric also lists commercial generators, UPS and backup power, explosion-proof and hazardous-location systems, grounding and cathodic protection, horizontal boring, solar, and maintenance contracts. The state lists Harlan Heise and Douglas Heise as principals since 2025. Most of this is facility and utility work rather than household jobs. A plant upgrading its distribution gear, a district keeping a lift station running, or a building owner adding backup power fits the work the company describes. Residential reach is narrower: the company says it does residential solar and septic electrical service, so a rural Spokane County home with a septic pump circuit is in range. Framing, drywall or a standalone plumbing repair belongs with a different trade. On a Spokane home, repair versus replace in electrical and pump work usually turns on age and capacity. A failed pump control or a single bad breaker is a repair. An old panel that can't carry a heat pump, an EV charger or a solar tie-in is usually a replacement, and that's where a permit and inspection come in. For well and septic pumps on the edges of Mead or Cheney, ask whether the controls and wiring are sized for the pump going in, not just the one coming out.
