KT Electrical Contractors LLC.

The state insures KT Electrical under its building-wiring and floodlight class, which matches the permit record going back to 2023. Recent jobs include heat pump and furnace circuits in Spokane Valley, rooftop unit replacements in Spokane, a light pole replacement in Spangle, and rebuilding a meter can after the wiring was stolen. Since 2025 the business has filed public-works jobs for SNAP, nearly always as a subcontractor, with apprentices on the job. The state lists Keenan Long as a principal since 2023, and the crew sits in the four-to-six range. The company describes itself as family-owned and claims a satisfaction guarantee. This is a good match for a standby generator, an EV charger, a hot tub circuit, or a panel upgrade in an older house, and for tenant improvements or new-construction rough-in on the commercial side. The company also lists long service runs to shops and outbuildings, cabin rewiring and storm repair on overhead lines, which suits rural properties north of town. Large industrial electrical sits outside its focus, and posted hours are weekdays only, so weekend emergency calls are better routed elsewhere. Before comparing electrical quotes, write down what the job actually is: the amperage you want for a new service, which loads the panel needs to carry, and where an EV charger or generator will sit relative to the meter. Note whether the price includes the permit and inspection, any trenching or overhead work to an outbuilding, and patching drywall afterward. In outlying parts of Spokane County and North Idaho, ask who coordinates the utility disconnect. Two bids written to the same list are the only ones worth comparing.
