Vip Production Northwest Inc.

Public-works filings on the licence run from 2014 into 2026, nearly always as a subcontractor, for agencies including Spokane School District 81, Central Valley, West Valley, Richland, Kennewick, Walla Walla, Ephrata, Coulee-Hartline, Eastern Washington University, the Spokane Public Facilities District and the City of Spokane Valley. Recent electrical permits cover pole-mounted speakers and restroom controls in Spokane Valley, show lighting for a motorcycle show in Spokane, and audio and lighting wiring in Deer Park. The state insures the crew, in the 11 to 20 range, under classes for audio and intercom work, nonstructural metal and AV rental. The company says it works with ETC, Chauvet and Elation gear and describes itself as family-owned. This is a shop for auditoriums, gyms, theaters, churches, event halls and facilities managers who need stage rigging inspected, curtains replaced or a sound and lighting system designed and kept running. It mostly works through general contractors and institutions. Someone rewiring a kitchen, adding circuits or upgrading a panel at home needs a residential electrician instead. Repair versus replace comes up constantly with older stage and AV systems in Spokane-area schools and halls, many built or last updated decades ago. Fixtures that still work but run hot and draw heavy power are usually candidates for an LED retrofit rather than piecemeal lamp swaps. Rigging and curtains are different: worn rope, hardware or flame-treated fabric should be judged by an inspection, not by whether things still move. When the control system is obsolete and parts are scarce, patching tends to cost more over time than a planned replacement.
