Accent Floors & Design Inc.

The business is registered as a contractor with Idaho's Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, and flooring is the only trade on its record. That narrow focus is the point: this is a floor company rather than a general remodeler that adds flooring as a sideline. Based in Dalton Gardens, it sits within easy reach of Coeur d'Alene, Hayden, Hayden Lake, Post Falls and Rathdrum. Idaho has carried its registration since 2011. Before any flooring job starts, get the scope in writing. It should say what comes up, who hauls away old carpet, tile or vinyl, and whether subfloor repair is included or priced separately once the old floor is off. Ask how furniture moving and baseboard removal are handled, and what cleanup looks like at the end of each day, since cutting and sanding make dust. Agree on how change orders work if a damaged subfloor or uneven slab turns up. Older North Idaho homes often hide surprises under the floor. Finally, ask what warranty covers the installation itself, separate from the manufacturer's product warranty, and how long the installer stands behind it.
