Alpine Fire Sprinklers Inc.

The state insures the business for automatic sprinkler installation and construction project management, and puts the crew at one to three people, with the owner working on the jobs. Public-works filings run from 2007 to 2016, mostly as a subcontractor, for agencies including Washington State University, Spokane County Purchasing, Orient School District, Liberty Lake Sewer District, the City of Moses Lake and the Spokane Valley Fire Department. Recent permits, from 2020 through 2025, cover automatic sprinkler systems and fire code work in Spokane and Spokane Valley. The business traces back to a predecessor licence from 2006. The state lists William Corbit and Duane Bartholomew as principals since 2009. Alpine advertises inspection, backflow testing, fire pump testing and maintenance, which suits a building owner who needs that done on a regular schedule. The company also says it offers round-the-clock service for leaks, pipe repair and sprinkler head replacement. Much of its work comes through general contractors, public bids and repeat customers. This is a fire sprinkler shop only, so plumbing, electrical or remodeling work belongs with another trade. Repair or replace comes up often with sprinkler systems in older Spokane buildings. A single leaking fitting or a damaged head is usually a repair. Corrosion that keeps returning, blockages in old steel pipe, or heads that have been painted over point toward replacing sections of the system. Cold matters here too: pipes in unheated attics, garages or exterior walls are where freeze damage shows up after a hard Spokane winter. An inspection that looks at the whole system, not just the failed spot, is the way to make that call.
