Crafted Stone LLC.

Crafted Stone is registered in Idaho only, so its work stays on the Idaho side of the state line. For a homeowner in Kootenai County, that's the side that matters. A general contractor registration in Idaho covers a broad range of residential work. The business has held that registration since 2017, which puts it through a good number of north Idaho building seasons. Before work starts with any general contractor, get the scope written down room by room or element by element, including materials and who supplies them. Ask how change orders are handled: whether they're priced and signed before the extra work happens, or tallied at the end. Cleanup deserves its own line. Find out whether debris hauling, dust protection and site restoration are included, especially on stone or masonry jobs that leave cuttings and mortar behind. Ask what the warranty covers, for how long, and whether it's workmanship, materials or both. With north Idaho's freeze-thaw winters, ask too how exterior work is scheduled around cold weather and what happens if a job carries into late fall.
