Crow Woodworks.

Rathdrum sits at the north end of the Kootenai County corridor, and a contractor working out of it covers the newer subdivisions around town as easily as older homes closer to Coeur d'Alene and Hayden Lake. Crow Woodworks holds its contractor registration in Idaho only, so its work stays on the Idaho side of the line. The state record lists it as a general contractor and has carried that registration since 2020. Before any work starts on a general contracting job, get the scope in writing, room by room and item by item, so both sides agree on what's included and what isn't. Ask who handles cleanup and debris haul-off, and whether that happens daily or at the end. Find out how change orders work: whether they're written and signed before the extra work begins, and how they're priced. Ask what warranty covers the workmanship and for how long, and whether materials carry their own manufacturer coverage. On remodels in older Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls houses, ask how hidden problems behind walls get handled once they're opened up. Clear answers to these up front save arguments later.
