Elkry Construction LLC.

Elkry Construction is a local outfit, working out of Coeur d'Alene and keeping its jobs on the Idaho side of the line in Kootenai County. As a general contractor, it is the kind of firm that takes on a project as a whole rather than a single trade, coordinating the pieces a remodel or addition needs. Elkry has held its Idaho registration since 2023. Before a general contractor starts, get the scope written down room by room, including what is being removed, what stays, and who handles disposal. Ask how cleanup works day to day, especially if you're living in the house while the work goes on. Find out how change orders are priced and approved, since remodels in older Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls homes often turn up surprises once walls open. Ask what workmanship warranty the contractor offers, how long it runs, and how a callback is handled. Ask too which work will be done by subcontractors, and whether permits from the city or Kootenai County will be pulled in the contractor's name.
