Greybeard Steel, LLC.

Greybeard Steel holds an Idaho contractor registration, first issued in 2018, and its work stays on the Idaho side of the state line. It's listed as a general contractor, and that's the only trade on its registration. For a homeowner in Post Falls or a neighboring town, that means a local contractor based close to the job, working within its own state's rules. Before any general contracting or steel work starts, get the scope down on paper: what's being built, what materials are specified, and who handles permits with the city or county. Ask how site cleanup is handled, including scrap steel, offcuts and packaging, and whether hauling is included. Ask how change orders work if the plan shifts mid-job, whether they're priced in writing before the work proceeds, and who signs off. Ask what warranty covers workmanship versus materials, and how long each lasts. Around Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene, winter weather can push outdoor work around, so ask how scheduling gets handled when snow or frozen ground delays a phase.
