Hired Guns Framing Inc.

Hired Guns Framing is registered in Idaho under its legal name, Hired Guns Framing Inc., and has held that registration since 2014. It is listed as a general contractor, and its work stays on the Idaho side of the line, in the Kootenai County towns within reach of Hayden. Framing is the skeleton of a house or addition: walls, floor systems, roof structure. It is the stage that every later trade depends on being square and plumb. Before framing or any general construction starts, get the scope in writing. That means which plans the crew is building from, who supplies lumber and hardware, and whether sheathing, blocking and stairs are included. Ask how changes get handled once walls are standing. A moved window or a raised ceiling costs real time, so agree up front that change orders are written and priced before the work happens. Ask who clears offcuts and debris from the lot, and how often. Northern Idaho winters can stall a job with the frame open to the weather, so ask how the crew protects framing from snow and rain. Finally, ask what workmanship warranty is offered on the structure and how a callback is handled.
