MB Builders & Development LLC.

The business is registered with Idaho's Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing as a general contractor, a registration it has held since 2008. A general contractor's role is to run a job from start to finish: lining up the trades, managing the schedule and answering for the finished work. Based in Hayden Lake, MB Builders & Development sits close to the north end of the Coeur d'Alene market, which keeps Hayden, Hayden Lake and Rathdrum close to home. Deciding between repair and replacement on a Coeur d'Alene area home usually comes down to what's behind the surface. Heavy snow loads, freeze-thaw cycles and spring runoff are hard on decks, roofs, siding and foundations, and damage that looks cosmetic can run deeper into framing or sheathing. Ask a general contractor to open things up enough to see the condition of the structure before settling on a scope. Older homes around Coeur d'Alene and Hayden Lake may justify replacing a whole system rather than patching it repeatedly, while newer builds in Hayden and Post Falls often need only targeted repairs. Get the reasoning for either choice explained in writing, and confirm who pulls any permits the work requires.
