TMB Builders LLC.

The registration TMB Builders holds is an Idaho contractor registration, issued through the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing in 2022. It covers general contracting work in Idaho. The business is set up as a limited liability company, and Wallace is where it keeps its base. From there, a 25-mile radius reaches up and down the Silver Valley and toward the Fourth of July Pass side of the county, which is a different territory from the busier corridor around Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls and Hayden. Permits are worth sorting out before any general contracting job starts in North Idaho. Additions, structural changes, new decks, garages, window or door openings cut into a wall, and most work touching wiring, plumbing or heating usually need a permit from the city or the county, depending on where the house sits. Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls and Hayden each run their own building departments, while unincorporated property generally falls to the county. Expect the contractor to pull the permit and schedule the inspections. Doing so ties the work to the builder's registration, gets an inspector's eyes on framing and rough-ins before walls close, and leaves a clean record that helps when the house is sold or insured later.
