Aire Serv of Spokane.

Licence-matched mechanical permits from 2023 through 2026 show steady installation work in Spokane Valley, unincorporated Spokane County, Cheney and Mead. The state insures the business under HVAC install, service and repair, along with sheet-metal fabrication and estimating classes, which fits a shop that builds some of its own ductwork. Public-works filings between 2013 and 2022 include jobs for the St. John, Reardan-Edwall and Tekoa school districts, Spokane Public Schools and the City of Spokane, mostly as a subcontractor. The state lists Eric Coombs as a principal since 2011 and Danielle Coombs since 2012, and the crew sits in the four-to-six worker range. Aire Serv of Spokane sticks to mechanical systems, so it fits a dead furnace in January, a boiler that needs replacing, a hydronic upgrade or a new water heater. Framing or structural work belongs with a different trade. The service list also covers duct cleaning and indoor air quality, useful for older Spokane houses with original ductwork. Repair or replace comes down to age, parts and how the system has held up through Spokane's cold snaps and hot, smoky summers. A furnace or boiler with a failed igniter, inducer motor or circulator pump is usually worth fixing. One with a cracked heat exchanger, repeated breakdowns or parts that are no longer made is a candidate for replacement, and that's the moment to weigh a heat pump or ductless system against a like-for-like swap. On older South Hill and Valley homes, ask how the existing ducts or radiators will work with new equipment before choosing.
