The company says it grows, delivers and installs sod turfgrass and applies fertilizer, and it advertises the greater Spokane area as its territory, roughly a 25-mile reach from Mead. In 2024 it supplied work as a subcontractor on a City of Cheney public-works project. The state lists Christopher Ray as a principal since 2011, with Lynette Bowman, Austin Ray and Tyler Soto added later. This suits a homeowner starting a lawn from bare dirt after a build or a regrade, or someone who wants fertilizing handled alongside new turf. It's one product done in volume, not a full landscape company, so patios, retaining walls and tree work belong with someone else. Buyers picking up sod themselves should plan on a truck or trailer that can carry heavy rolls, or arrange delivery. A small patch of dead grass along a Spokane driveway is a quick job: a few rolls, some topsoil and a weekend. A full new lawn is a different project, with grading, soil prep, irrigation and timing the install so the sod roots before summer heat or fall frost. For the small fix, buying direct from a grower and laying it yourself makes sense. For the big one, decide early who owns each step, because a sod supplier, an irrigation installer and a grading contractor may all be involved, and gaps between them show up as brown seams in July.
