Color Changer LLC.

Painting is the one trade Color Changer carries on its Idaho registration, held through the state's Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing since 2019. The business is set up in Hayden under the name Color Changer LLC and works the Idaho side of the line. For a homeowner north of Coeur d'Alene, that means a painter based close to home rather than one driving in from across the region. The Coeur d'Alene area's housing runs from older homes near downtown and around the lake to the newer subdivisions that have filled in Hayden, Rathdrum and Post Falls. On an older house, expect more prep: scraping, sanding, caulking and spot-priming wood siding and trim that has seen decades of sun and freeze. Ask how the painter handles any original coatings, since homes built before 1978 may carry lead paint and need safe prep. Newer homes with fiber-cement or engineered siding usually need less surface work but still benefit from the right primer and a paint suited to the swing between hot, dry summers and snowy winters. Exterior painting here fits a narrower warm-season window, so ask early about scheduling and which products suit your siding.
