Butters Gutters.

The business holds its contractor registration in Idaho only, so its work stays on the Idaho side of the line. Within that, the shape is simple: a Coeur d'Alene base, a service area reaching the towns around the lake and up the Rathdrum Prairie, and a name that says what the crew comes to do. Gutter work sits in an odd place on a house. It touches the roof edge, the fascia, the siding and the ground around the foundation. A general contractor registration covers that kind of work that crosses trades. Coeur d'Alene's housing runs from older homes near downtown and the lake to newer subdivisions in Hayden, Post Falls and Rathdrum. On older houses, ask about the fascia boards before new gutters go up. Decades of overflow can soften wood that looks fine from the ground, and hanging new gutters on a rotted board just moves the problem. Newer homes often have long rooflines and big roof valleys that shed a lot of water at one spot. Larger downspouts or added drops can matter more there than the gutter itself. Heavy snow and freeze-thaw cycles here favor sturdy hangers, close spacing, and a plan for where meltwater goes once it leaves the downspout.
