C & K Roofing, Inc.

The business holds a current contractor registration with Idaho's Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, first issued in 2005. That puts C & K Roofing among the longer-standing roofing names in Kootenai County. Its base in Coeur d'Alene and its roughly 25-mile reach cover the towns around the lake and out toward Post Falls, Hayden and Rathdrum. Coeur d'Alene's housing runs from older homes near downtown and the lake to newer subdivisions spreading north toward Hayden and Rathdrum and west toward Post Falls. On an older house, a reroof often means finding out what's under the current layer: past overlays, aging decking, or ventilation that never met today's expectations. On a newer home, the questions are more often about manufacturer requirements and whether the original install was done to them. In both cases, snow load and freeze-thaw cycles make flashing, ice protection at the eaves and attic ventilation worth asking about.
