Rocky Mountain Home Services is a roofing contractor based in Coeur d'Alene, registered with Idaho's Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing. Roofing is the one trade on its record, so the work centers on what sits over the house: tear-offs, replacements and repairs. It works out of Coeur d'Alene and travels roughly 25 miles from there, a reach that takes in Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, Dalton Gardens and Hayden Lake on the Idaho side.

The business holds an Idaho contractor registration issued in 2025, and roofing is the only trade listed against it. That keeps the scope narrow and clear. A homeowner calling Rocky Mountain Home Services is calling about a roof, not about a kitchen or a deck. The roughly 25-mile radius from Coeur d'Alene covers most of Kootenai County's main towns, from older neighborhoods near the lake to newer subdivisions out toward Rathdrum. Before a roofer starts in North Idaho, get the scope in writing. Ask whether the bid is a full tear-off or a layover, and what happens if rotten decking turns up once the old shingles come off. Ask how that kind of change is priced and approved, so it isn't settled on the roof mid-job. Cover cleanup too: tarps over landscaping, magnet sweeps for nails, and who hauls the debris. Ask what the workmanship warranty covers and for how long, and keep it separate from the shingle maker's warranty. Snow load and ice at the eaves are real concerns around Coeur d'Alene, so ask how the crew handles underlayment and ice protection along the edges.
