Lake City Glass Company.

Lake City Glass holds its contractor registration through Idaho's Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, listed under the legal name Lake City Glass. It's a Coeur d'Alene business working the Idaho side of the line, close to home. The registration dates to 2006, so the shop has been doing contracted work in Kootenai County for a good stretch of years. On a Coeur d'Alene home, the repair-or-replace question for glass usually starts with what failed. A cracked pane or a single fogged insulated unit can often be swapped in the existing frame, and that's worth asking about first. When the frames themselves are soft, the seals are going on window after window, or cold drafts come through even with good glass, replacing the whole unit starts to make more sense. Long winters and hot lake summers are hard on older windows, so look at the condition of sashes and sills, not just the glass. Ask any glass contractor to show you which parts are sound and which aren't before you decide.
