Residential jobs show up too: a basement sub panel and kitchen remodel in Spokane, a well refeed with new underground conduit in Mead, a 400-amp overhead service in Latah. Public agencies have hired the company since 2004, including the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, Spokane County Fire District 9, SNAP and the City of Spokane, usually with Apollo as prime contractor. The state lists David Nieuwenhuis, Christine Nieuwenhuis and Alan Rubens as principals since 2002. Apollo fits a business owner with a tenant improvement that needs panel work and data cabling, or a regional project with prevailing-wage requirements. It also takes on older homes that need panel replacements, code corrections and lighting upgrades. The crew runs about seven to ten people, and the company says it handles structured cabling, fire alarm and access control wiring, motor controls and EV fleet charging. A homeowner with a single outlet to add may find the work leans larger and more commercial. Before an electrician starts, get the scope in writing: which circuits, which panel, and whether the utility needs to schedule a disconnect or meter change. Ask who pulls the electrical permit and who books the inspection. Ask how drywall cuts and debris get handled, and whether patching is included or left to you. Agree on how change orders get priced once a wall is open and old wiring turns up, which is common in older Spokane houses. Then ask what the warranty covers on labor and on the equipment itself, especially for generators, transfer switches and EV chargers.
