Cerium Networks Inc.

Cerium traces back to a predecessor licence held as Cerium Networks LLC from 2001. Its public-works filings run from 2011 to 2026, nearly always as prime contractor, for agencies including Community Colleges of Spokane, Snohomish, Lake Washington, White River, Hockinson and Seattle school districts, Douglas County PUD, the state Department of Corrections, Fish and Wildlife, South Sound 911 and the Bellevue Convention Center Authority. The state puts the crew at 51 to 75 workers. Cerium advertises work with Avaya, Cisco, Microsoft, Polycom, VMware and Dell, claims ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification and round-the-clock support, and lists Roger Junkermier, William Junkermier and Jamie Harris as principals. The work leans commercial and institutional. It suits a school district upgrading intercoms and classroom paging, a public agency replacing a phone system with Microsoft Teams calling, or a business that wants its network, security monitoring and support under one contract across Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. A Spokane homeowner wanting a new panel, added circuits or a quick fix on a house is better matched with a residential electrician. Before low-voltage or communications work starts, ask what the scope covers: cable runs, terminations, labeling, and whether old wiring and equipment gets pulled or abandoned in place. Ask who patches ceiling tiles and drywall after the pull, and how after-hours work is scheduled in occupied buildings. Get the change-order process in writing, since added drops and devices are common once walls open. Finally, ask what the warranty covers on cabling versus equipment, and how support calls are handled afterward.
