Thorco Inc.

Thorco holds an Idaho contractor registration through the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, first issued in 2005. That puts the business on the state's books for close to two decades of work around Coeur d'Alene. Its home base is in the city itself, and a 25-mile radius from there takes in places like Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, Dalton Gardens and Hayden Lake. The registration is Idaho's alone, so Thorco's work stays on this side of the state line. Before any electrical job starts, get the scope written down: which circuits, fixtures, outlets or panel work are included, and whether patching drywall or ceiling holes after wiring runs is part of the job or left to you. Ask who pulls the electrical permit and schedules the inspection, since in Idaho that inspection is a real checkpoint, not a formality. Settle how change orders work if an old wiring problem turns up behind a wall, which happens often in older Coeur d'Alene homes, and get it agreed in writing before the extra work is done. Ask about cleanup, too, and what warranty covers the labor once the inspector signs off.
