Fairway Floor Inc.

Flooring is the only trade on the Idaho record for Fairway Floor, which keeps the picture simple: this is a floor company, not a general contractor that does floors on the side. The business operates under the legal name Fairway Floor, Inc. out of Post Falls, and its working area reaches the neighboring Kootenai County towns within its travel radius. That registration has been held continuously in Idaho since 2005, a long run for a single-trade shop in a fast-growing market. Most straight floor-covering work in Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls and Hayden, such as replacing carpet, laying vinyl plank or refinishing hardwood, doesn't call for a building permit on its own. That changes when the job reaches past the surface. Replacing a damaged subfloor, cutting into joists, moving walls to open up a room, or tiling a bathroom where plumbing gets relocated can all bring a permit and inspection into play, and city and county rules differ across the area. When a flooring estimate includes structural or plumbing work, ask who is pulling the permit. The contractor doing the work should be the one to pull it, so the inspection record and the responsibility sit with the business that built it.
