Much of the work so far has come through general contractors rather than straight from homeowners. The state lists Vasyl Kuzmenko as a principal since 2023. Residential work rounds out the picture, within roughly a 25-mile reach of its Spokane-area base. That makes it a reasonable fit for a single-room tile or flooring job where a homeowner wants to deal with a small outfit directly and doesn't need a large company's sales process. It's referral-driven and lightly marketed. For a big commercial build with many trades on the schedule, a larger firm is the more natural choice. Before tile work starts, pin down the scope in writing: which rooms, what substrate prep is included, whether old flooring removal and haul-away are part of the job, and who supplies the tile, setting materials and grout. Ask how cleanup is handled each day, since cutting tile makes dust. Agree on how change orders are priced if rotten subfloor or a cracked slab turns up once the old floor comes out, a real possibility in older Spokane and Spokane Valley homes. Finally, ask what the installer stands behind on labor, such as cracked grout or loose tile, and for how long.
