Active West Builders LLC.

Active West Builders is registered in Idaho only, so its work stays on the Idaho side of the state line. As a general contractor, it falls into the category of firm that takes on building projects and coordinates the trades involved, rather than a single-trade specialist. Its Idaho registration dates to 2008, which gives it a long run of continuous standing with the state in the Coeur d'Alene market. Before comparing general contractor bids around Coeur d'Alene, write down the scope in your own words: which rooms or structures are involved, what gets demolished, what stays, and which finishes you've already chosen versus what you expect the contractor to pick. Ask each bidder to say who pulls the permit with the city or county and which trades they'll bring in. List allowances separately so one quote's fixtures or materials aren't quietly cheaper than another's. Note how each contractor handles changes once work starts and how winter weather affects the schedule for any exterior or foundation work. With the same written scope in every bidder's hands, the quotes become something you can actually line up side by side.
