Blinds Etc Inc.

Blinds Etc Inc. works under an Idaho contractor registration, issued in 2019, and lists general contracting as its trade. Window coverings are a finishing job, the kind that comes at the end of a build or remodel or on their own when a homeowner wants to change how a room handles light and privacy. Working out of Rathdrum puts the business close to the newer subdivisions that have filled in around the town as well as the older neighborhoods in Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls. Around Coeur d'Alene, interior finishing work tends to stack up behind the building season. Spring and summer bring new construction and remodels, and many of those homes reach the window-covering stage in late summer and fall, just as owners want shades in before the shorter, colder days. Custom blinds and shades usually have to be measured, ordered and then installed, so the wait comes from the order as much as the install. A homeowner closing on a new house or finishing a remodel does well to book a measure as soon as the windows and trim are in rather than waiting for move-in week. Winter is often a quieter time to get on the schedule.
