Big Tree Construction works out of Coeur d'Alene, taking general contracting jobs in the city and across the surrounding Kootenai County towns within about 25 miles of its base. That reach covers Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, Dalton Gardens and Hayden Lake. The business is registered as a contractor with Idaho's Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing and works on the Idaho side of the line.

Big Tree Construction LLC is a general contractor, which in North Idaho usually means a homeowner brings it a project with more than one trade in it and expects the contractor to run the whole thing. Its Idaho registration dates to 2024, which makes it one of the newer outfits on the Coeur d'Alene side. The business is based in Coeur d'Alene itself, so jobs in town and in the neighboring communities sit well inside its usual range. Before any general contractor starts, pin the scope down in writing. Ask which trades the contractor's own crew handles and which go to subcontractors, and who is responsible for each. Ask how change orders are written up and priced, and whether anything changes without your signature. Ask what daily cleanup looks like, where materials and the dumpster will sit, and how the site is left at the end. Last, ask what the workmanship warranty covers, how long it runs, and who you call if something shows up after a North Idaho winter, when freeze and thaw tend to reveal what a summer job missed.
