Eakins Forestry Services LLC.

The Idaho registration is recent, issued in 2026, and the business is listed as a general contractor. Rathdrum sits on the edge of the prairie where timbered parcels and newer subdivisions meet, and a forestry outfit working from Post Falls is placed close to both. Homeowners in Hayden, Hayden Lake and the rural ground north of Rathdrum are within the distance the business says it travels. Before any work on a wooded property starts, get the scope in writing: which trees or brush come out, what stays, and where the property line actually runs. Ask what happens to the material, whether it's chipped and left, hauled off, or cut to length and stacked, and whether stumps are ground or left at grade. Settle how changes get priced if more turns up once the crew is on site, since hidden rot and leaning trees often do. Ask too what the contractor stands behind afterward, from ruts in the lawn to damage to fences or septic lines, and get that answer on paper.
