Ela Construction LLC.

Ela Construction holds an Idaho contractor registration and has carried it since 2015. That makes it an Idaho-side business, framed here on the Coeur d'Alene market, with general contracting as its listed trade. A general contractor in this part of Kootenai County is usually the single point of contact on a job, coordinating the trades and the schedule around a homeowner's house rather than doing one narrow piece of work. Most general contracting work around Coeur d'Alene, Hayden and Post Falls touches a permit at some point. Additions, new decks, structural changes, garages, finished basements and anything that moves plumbing, wiring or a gas line generally need one, whether the job sits inside city limits or out in unincorporated Kootenai County, which has its own building department. Expect the contractor to pull the permit. It puts responsibility for the work on the contractor's registration, it means inspections happen at framing and before walls close, and it leaves a record that matters when the house is sold or insured. A homeowner asked to pull the permit themselves is taking on that responsibility, so it's worth asking who files it before the job starts.
