Gator Waterproofing Services LLC.

Gator Waterproofing is registered through the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing and works on the Idaho side of the line. The state lists it under the general contractor category, which Idaho uses broadly and which can cover everything from foundation and below-grade work to general repairs. For a homeowner around Hayden or Hayden Lake, that registration is what allows the business to take on paid construction work in the state. A short first call is the quickest way to learn which waterproofing or repair jobs the business takes on and how it approaches them. Permits are a fair question to raise early with any contractor in the Coeur d'Alene area. Surface sealing and minor patching usually don't need one, but work that changes structure, drainage or grading often does: excavating along a foundation, installing a sump pump tied to plumbing or electrical, adding exterior drain lines, or repairing a cracked foundation wall. Hayden, Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls and unincorporated Kootenai County each run their own building departments, so the rules shift with the address. Expect the contractor to know which office covers your property and to pull the permit under its own registration. That puts the inspection and the responsibility where they belong.
