Jefferson Builders LLC.

The business operates under its own name as a Post Falls general contractor, with Idaho as its only state of registration. Its travel radius puts the neighboring towns of the Coeur d'Alene area, including Coeur d'Alene, Hayden and Rathdrum, within reach of a local crew. Jefferson Builders has held its Idaho registration since 2017, and the state's details on that registration appear in the record panel on this page. Weather sets the calendar for general contracting around Post Falls. Excavation, foundations and concrete go best from late spring into early fall, once the ground has thawed and before the first hard freeze. Framing and roofing benefit from the dry summer months, when lumber and sheathing can be closed in without sitting wet. Interior remodels are the natural winter work, since they don't depend on the ground or the sky. Freeze-thaw cycles are hard on poorly drained footings, slabs and flatwork, so it's worth asking any builder how grading and drainage will be handled. Booking over the winter for a spring start is common for larger projects, because the dry season fills quickly across Kootenai County.
