KDH Solutions LLC.

Hayden is the home base, and the business travels about 25 miles from there. That covers Coeur d'Alene, Hayden Lake, Dalton Gardens, Rathdrum and Post Falls without much of a drive. KDH Solutions is registered in Idaho, so its work stays on the Idaho side of the line. As a general contractor, it's the kind of firm a homeowner calls to run a project and coordinate the trades involved, rather than a single-trade specialist. Around Coeur d'Alene, housing ranges from older homes near downtown and the lake to newer subdivisions spreading north through Hayden and toward Rathdrum. Those two kinds of house ask different things of a general contractor. In an older home, opening a wall can turn up dated wiring, undersized framing or past repairs that weren't done to current standards, so ask how surprises will be handled and priced before work starts. Newer tract homes tend to be more predictable but were often built with builder-grade materials. Talk through which finishes and products are worth upgrading during a remodel. Ask too how materials will hold up through the area's snow load and freeze-thaw winters.
