Murphy Maritime, LLC.

Murphy Maritime holds an Idaho contractor registration issued in 2024, which makes it a newer name in the local trades. Its trade is listed as general contracting, and its base in Coeur d'Alene puts nearby towns like Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, Dalton Gardens and Hayden Lake within its travel range. The business works under Idaho registration only, so its work stays on the Idaho side. For general contracting around Coeur d'Alene, permits come up more often than many homeowners expect. Additions, structural changes, new decks, garages, and most work that touches framing, plumbing, electrical or mechanical systems usually need a building permit from the city or from Kootenai County, depending on where the property sits. Work near the lake or other shorelines can bring extra review on top of that. Expect the contractor to pull the permit and schedule the inspections. It keeps the work on record, protects you when you sell, and puts responsibility for meeting code with the person doing the job. A good question for any general contractor here is simply which jurisdiction covers your address and who will be at the inspections.
