North Eco Space LLC.

As a general contractor, North Eco Space is set up to coordinate building work rather than a single trade. On a typical general contracting job that means scheduling subcontractors, sequencing the work and keeping the project moving from start to finish. The business operates under the name North Eco Space and is registered to work in Idaho, so its jobs sit on the Idaho side of the line, in Kootenai County towns like Hayden Lake and Coeur d'Alene itself. How you hire a general contractor depends a lot on the size of the job. A small fix, like a damaged door frame, a short run of trim or a patched deck board, often doesn't need a general contractor at all; a handyman or a single tradesperson may be quicker. Larger projects are different. A remodel that touches framing, plumbing and electrical, or an addition on a house in Post Falls or Rathdrum, involves permits, inspections and several trades working in order, and that coordination is what a general contractor is for. For bigger work, ask who will be on site day to day, which trades are subcontracted, and how changes to the plan get priced and approved before anyone signs.
