North River Earthworks.

The state lists North River Industries as a general contractor. The business presents itself under the North River Earthworks name, and that name points toward excavation and site work. Its Idaho registration was issued in 2026, so this is a recent entry to the state record. Post Falls is home base. From there, Coeur d'Alene, Rathdrum, Hayden and Dalton Gardens all sit inside the area it says it covers. Pin down the scope in writing before any dirt moves. Earthwork jobs change shape once the ground is open, so ask how the contractor handles rock, buried debris or soft soil found partway through, and how a change order gets priced and approved before the extra work happens. Ask where excavated material goes. It might be hauled off, spread on site or left in a pile for you to deal with. Ask too what final grading and cleanup look like when the machines leave, and whether the grade will slope away from the house. Around Post Falls and Rathdrum, spring melt shows quickly whether drainage was done right, so ask what the contractor stands behind if water pools or the ground settles in the first season.
