Perfect Siding.

Perfect Siding holds its contractor registration through Idaho's Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, issued in 2024, and works on the Idaho side of the line. It's registered as a general contractor, which lets it handle the trim, flashing and wall repair that often turn up once old siding comes off, alongside the siding itself. For a homeowner in Kootenai County, that means one registered contractor for the exterior job rather than a string of separate trades. Coeur d'Alene's housing stock runs from older homes near downtown and the lake, many with original wood lap siding or layers of later cladding, to newer subdivisions in Hayden and Post Falls built with fiber cement or vinyl. On an older house, ask how the contractor will deal with what's underneath: rotted sheathing, missing house wrap and gaps around old windows are common once the walls are opened. On newer homes, the questions are more about matching existing profiles and colors on a partial replacement. Either way, freeze-thaw cycles and heavy snow make flashing at windows, doors and roof lines worth discussing before work starts.
