Perimeter Security Group LLC.

Idaho's Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing registered Perimeter Security Group in 2008, and the registration is current. That is a long run for a small general contractor in Kootenai County, where the building market has swung hard in both directions since then. The business works on the Idaho side of the line, from its base in Dalton Gardens out through the towns along the Highway 95 corridor and toward the Rathdrum Prairie. The housing stock around Coeur d'Alene splits sharply by age. Older neighborhoods near downtown and around Dalton Gardens hold mid-century homes and acreage properties with outbuildings, where a general contractor may open a wall and find dated wiring, undersized framing or patchwork from earlier owners. Newer subdivisions in Hayden and Post Falls are mostly tract builds with engineered lumber and standard materials that are easier to match. A homeowner hiring a general contractor here should ask how they handle surprises in older construction, and whether materials for an addition or repair will be matched to what's already on the house, especially siding and roofing that has to stand up to heavy snow and freeze-thaw cycles.
