Tri Rock is a newer entry on the Idaho rolls, registered in 2024 under the legal name Tri Rock Concrete Corp. Its registration is as a general contractor, which in Idaho covers a broad range of residential and light commercial work. The name points to concrete as the core of what it does. Its work stays on the Idaho side of the line, around Coeur d'Alene and the North Idaho towns within its travel radius. Concrete bids are hard to compare unless each contractor is pricing the same job. Before collecting quotes, write down the slab or flatwork dimensions, the thickness you want, and whether the price includes demolition and haul-off of old concrete. Ask each bidder to state the base preparation, reinforcement such as rebar or wire mesh, control joint spacing, finish type, and whether sealing is included. In North Idaho, freeze-thaw cycles are hard on poorly prepared concrete, so how a contractor handles drainage, base compaction and curing in cold or late-season weather matters as much as the finish.
