Advanced Mechanical SYS Inc.

The company's own list covers furnaces, heat pumps, central air, ductless mini splits, boilers, water heaters, geothermal and radiant floor systems, plus sheet metal and ductwork done in-house. The brands it advertises are Carrier, Trane, Lennox, York, Daikin and Mitsubishi. Public-works filings go back to 2003, mostly as prime contractor, for agencies including SNAP, Spokane County, Spokane County Fire Districts 5 and 9, Spokane Community College and the Pend Oreille County PUD. County mechanical permits tied to the licence show recent residential work in Colbert, Chattaroy and Spokane. The firm holds a Washington lead-safe renovation certification, says its technicians are NATE-certified and is part of Avista's contractor network. The state lists Robert Tallan as a principal since 1984 and Greg Date since 2015. This is a mechanical shop with separate service and install teams, so it fits a full system replacement as well as a repair call. The company advertises same-day service and emergency response. It also takes on light commercial equipment like rooftop and package units and walk-in coolers. Electrical upgrades on their own belong with an electrician, and large industrial plant maintenance is outside the residential and light commercial focus here. Spokane's housing stock pulls HVAC work in two directions. Older homes on the South Hill and in neighborhoods like Browne's Addition and Garland often still run boilers or old gravity furnaces, with ductwork that was never sized for air conditioning. Converting those houses to a heat pump or adding a ductless system means looking hard at the ducts and the electrical service first. In pre-1978 homes, cutting into plaster or old duct chases can disturb lead paint, which is where lead-safe certification matters. Newer builds in the Valley and Liberty Lake usually have forced air already, so the questions there are equipment sizing and whether a heat pump can carry the load through a cold snap.
