In 2025 the company filed public work as prime contractor for the Spokane Housing Authority, the Washington Department of Ecology and the Department of Fish and Wildlife, with apprentices on those jobs. The company says it has worked since 1988, carries Carrier equipment and services all major brands, and describes itself as family-, veteran- and woman-owned. The state lists Michael Boston and Treasure Boston as principals since 2024, and the business appears in Avista's contractor network. This is a mechanical shop with enough people to handle a steady run of residential replacements while keeping a commercial side going. A homeowner swapping out an aging furnace or adding a heat pump fits the pattern, and so does a building manager who needs boiler cleaning, safety testing or chiller repair. Clines also advertises new-construction HVAC, custom ductwork and zoning. Electrical work on its own, plumbing calls and general remodeling fall outside what it does. Spokane's housing stock splits the HVAC job in two. Older homes on the South Hill and in the Valley's postwar neighborhoods often have undersized or leaky ductwork, old boilers, or furnaces sized for a house before additions. A new heat pump on those ducts can disappoint, so ask whether the quote includes a duct check and load calculation. Newer builds out toward Liberty Lake and Cheney usually have tighter envelopes and better duct runs, where ventilation and zoning matter more than raw capacity.
