Lake City Heating & Cooling Inc.

Lake City Heating & Cooling holds a contractor registration with the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, and has been state-registered since 2006. That's close to two decades on the Idaho side, working in a market of older Coeur d'Alene neighborhoods alongside the newer subdivisions that have filled in toward Hayden and Post Falls. HVAC is the only trade it lists, so this is a heating and cooling business rather than a general contractor that also does mechanical work. Heating and cooling work splits into two kinds of job. A quick fix covers a furnace that won't light, a failed capacitor on an air conditioner or a thermostat that stopped talking to the system. That's diagnostic work, and what matters most is a technician who can come out promptly and find the fault. A larger project is a full equipment replacement, a switch to a heat pump, or new ductwork in an addition or a finished basement. That work calls for a proper load calculation, equipment sized to the house, and a mechanical permit with an inspection. For a replacement, ask any Coeur d'Alene-area HVAC contractor how they size the system and who pulls the permit. Get the answer before you compare equipment brands.
