Blakes Tree Service LLC.

Blake's Tree Service is listed with the state under the general contractor category, and its name says what the work is: trees. The business operates on the Idaho side only, so its jobs stay within Kootenai County towns inside that 25-mile reach from Post Falls. Its Idaho contractor registration dates to late 2023. Tree work around Coeur d'Alene follows the seasons. Late fall through early spring, when the leaves are down and the ground is firm or frozen, is a common window for pruning and removals. Crews can see the canopy and do less damage to lawns. Spring and summer bring storm cleanup and wildfire-season clearing around homes, and that's when calendars fill fastest. Heavy wet snow and windstorms can drop limbs on roofs and lines with little warning, and then emergency calls jump ahead of everything else. For planned work like thinning, removals near the house or clearing a lot, calling a month or two before you want it done gives you room to compare bids and pick a date. Ask whether the job needs a utility locate or a power company crew if lines are involved.
