The work is residential tree removal, and that's the whole of it: no landscaping sideline, no construction trades bundled in. Most of the work arrives through referrals and repeat customers rather than advertising. That fits a crew this size, where jobs come in by word of a neighbor whose maple came down cleanly. A small crew focused on removal suits a homeowner with a single mature tree that has to go: one leaning over the roof, one crowding a foundation, one that died back after a dry summer. It's a less natural match for a large new-construction lot that has to be cleared under a commercial bid. It also suits less well someone who wants to browse a long gallery of past jobs before calling. Spokane's housing stock shapes tree work more than people expect. Older neighborhoods on the South Hill and in the north side's early-1900s blocks have big ponderosa pines, elms and maples planted decades ago. Those trees now tower over roofs, garages and overhead service lines, and taking one down in a tight backyard usually means bringing it down in sections. Newer subdivisions in the Valley and out toward Liberty Lake tend to have younger, smaller trees but closer lot lines. When you ask for a quote, ask how the wood and stump will be handled. Ask too how the crew will protect fences, lawns and older brittle concrete on the way out.
