Dales Plumbing & More.

Dales Plumbing & More is licensed through Idaho's Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing as a plumbing contractor, the trade credential Idaho requires for plumbing work rather than a general registration. That license dates to 2007. Plumbing is the only trade on the record, so this is a shop to call for plumbing, not for a remodel that bundles framing, drywall and finish work under one contract. Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls mix older houses near the downtown cores with large tracts of newer construction out toward Hayden and Rathdrum, and the plumbing behind the walls differs a lot between them. Older homes can still carry galvanized steel supply lines, cast-iron drains or patched-together repairs from past owners, and those tend to need more than a quick fix. Newer homes usually run PEX and plastic drain lines, where the questions are more about fixtures, water heaters and the occasional fitting failure. Cold winters put exposed lines in crawlspaces and on exterior walls at risk of freezing. When calling a plumber, it helps to know roughly when the house was built and what the pipes are made of, so the plumber arrives with the right parts.
