Triple L Plumbing.

Idaho licenses plumbing as a trade rather than through a general contractor registration, so the credential Triple L Plumbing carries is the one that matters for plumbing work on this side of the line. Operating out of Hayden keeps the business close to the newer subdivisions north of Coeur d'Alene as well as the older neighborhoods closer to the lake and downtown. The state record, with the licence number and its status, is shown in its own panel on this page. The Coeur d'Alene area's housing runs from early-twentieth-century homes near downtown and the older parts of Post Falls to large tracts built in Hayden and Rathdrum over the past few decades, and the plumbing behind the walls differs accordingly. Older houses may still have galvanized supply lines, cast iron drains or a patchwork of past repairs, and a remodel there often turns up more than expected. Newer homes are more likely plumbed in PEX and PVC, where problems tend to be fittings, water heaters and fixtures rather than corroded pipe. Hard winters make supply lines in crawlspaces and exterior walls worth asking about in either kind of house. Telling a plumber the age of the home and what's been replaced helps scope the job before anyone opens a wall.
