Advanced Custom Cabinets Inc.

The business name says what the work is: custom cabinets, built to fit a specific room rather than pulled from a catalog. Advanced Custom Cabinets is registered in Idaho under the general contractor category and serves an area of roughly 25 miles around its Coeur d'Alene base, which takes in towns like Post Falls, Hayden and Rathdrum. Its Idaho registration dates to 2005, so the business has held it for a long stretch of North Idaho building cycles. Coeur d'Alene's housing stock runs from older homes near downtown and the lake, some with walls and floors that have settled out of square, to newer subdivisions in Hayden and Post Falls built with standard dimensions. That difference matters for cabinetry. In an older kitchen, ask how the cabinets will be scribed to uneven walls and whether the floor needs leveling before boxes go in. In a newer house, the questions lean toward layout, material choice and how solid wood or plywood boxes compare with particleboard in a dry-winter, humid-summer climate where wood moves. Either way, see a finished piece or a sample door before committing, and settle the finish and hardware early.
