Affordable Custom Cabinets Inc.

The business has held its Washington registration since 1986, which puts it among the longer-running contractor registrations in the Spokane area. The state lists Eric Hattamer as a principal since that same year, so the ownership on paper has stayed the same across the whole run. The registration is filed as a general contractor, and the business's name points to cabinetry as the core of its work. From Otis Orchards, the Spokane side of the market is the practical range. Spokane's housing stock shapes cabinet work more than most homeowners expect. Older homes on the South Hill and in neighborhoods north of downtown often have walls that aren't square, floors that have settled, and plaster that hides uneven framing. Custom boxes and scribed fillers can absorb those irregularities in a way stock units can't. Newer builds in Liberty Lake and the Valley tend to be truer, but they're often built to standard dimensions that make semi-custom work an option worth weighing. Whatever the house, ask how the cabinets are built: plywood or particleboard boxes, the type of drawer slides, and the finish. Also ask whether installation is included or handled separately. In a dry, heated Inland Northwest winter, solid wood moves, and a maker should account for that in doors and face frames.
