Beck Cabinet Company.

The legal name is Beck Cabinet Company Inc, and the state carries it as a general contractor rather than a narrow specialty trade. That registration dates to 2005, so the business has held Idaho paperwork for close to two decades. A 25-mile reach from Coeur d'Alene covers the nearby towns of Kootenai County, and all of its registered work sits on the Idaho side. Coeur d'Alene's housing runs from older homes near downtown and the lake to newer subdivisions spreading toward Hayden and Post Falls, and cabinet work changes with the house. In older homes, walls and floors are rarely square or level, so ask how a cabinet installer handles scribing, shimming and filler strips, and whether plumbing or wiring behind old cabinets may need updating once they come out. In newer builds the question is more about materials: solid wood, plywood boxes or particleboard, and what finish holds up to dry winters and wood-stove heat. Ask to see samples of box construction and drawer hardware before choosing, and get the scope in writing.
