Custom Cabinets by Cabinetree.

Cabinetree is a cabinet business first, registered in Idaho as a general contractor since 2011. That registration matters for cabinet work, because installing cabinets in a home is construction work, not just a delivery. Kitchens and baths in Post Falls, Coeur d'Alene and Hayden range from older houses near the lake to newer subdivisions out toward Rathdrum, and custom work is how cabinets get fitted to walls and layouts that stock boxes don't suit. Cabinet jobs come in two sizes, and they call for different people. A sticking drawer, a sagging door or a single vanity swap is a quick fix, and a handyman or a small shop can usually handle it in a visit. A full kitchen of custom cabinets is a different project. It means measuring the room, building to those measurements, and coordinating with whoever is handling counters, plumbing, electrical and flooring. For that kind of job, ask who builds the boxes, who installs them, and who sets the schedule with the other trades. A cabinet maker with a contractor registration can often carry more of that sequence than a supplier who only sells cabinets. Get the scope, materials and finish written down before anything is built, since custom pieces are made to order.
