Since 2022 Cabinet Pro has filed public-works jobs as a subcontractor for the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services, East Valley School District, Wellpinit and Orondo school districts, Spokane County, Eastern State Hospital, Lake Chelan Community Hospital and Volunteers of America of Eastern Washington and North Idaho. The state puts the crew at 31 to 50 workers, along with estimators and office staff. On the residential side the company lists cabinet design and installation, quartz countertops, vanities, backsplashes, tile showers, hardwood installation and refinishing, carpet binding and re-stretching, and in-home measuring. It advertises limited lifetime stain, soil and wear warranties on its carpet lines and says it is locally and family-owned. The state lists Rick Oxford as a principal since 2021 and Veneamin Plaksin since 2023. The fit is finish work. A kitchen or bath remodel where cabinets, counters and floors all come from one shop suits this outfit, and so does flooring that runs through several rooms, or a school or clinic renovation that needs an installer used to agency jobs. Framing a new house or fixing structural problems is a different trade. Work like that belongs with a framer or a general builder, with Cabinet Pro brought in once the walls are up. Spokane's older homes, from the South Hill to the bungalows near Spokane Valley's original town sites, rarely have floors that are level or walls that are square, and that shows up fast when long runs of cabinets or large-format tile go in. Plan for leveling and subfloor prep before new hardwood or tile in a house that has settled for decades. Newer tract homes in Liberty Lake or on Five Mile Prairie are usually truer, but builder-grade underlayment is often thin. Dry winters and humid summers move solid hardwood, so ask how the material will be acclimated before it goes down.
